The notes to Facsimile 2 say that figures 22 and 23, the globes on top of the monkeys, recieve their light from the revoulutions of Kolob.
In the book, Hamlet's Mill, An essay on myth and the frame of time, page 63, the drawing of Mount Meru is described as "Mount Meru, the world mountain, rising from the sea, surmounted by holy radiation, with sun and moon circling around it, as depicted in an old Budhist cave sanctuary in Chinese Turkestan." The radiations come from the mountain to the sun and moon, not the other way around. Another bull's eye for The Book of Abraham.
